Hickory Nut Gap Farm Camp - where lifelong memories are created and lifetime friendships are made!

The 2009 Summer Camp Schedule is on the "Schedule" tab above

In Fairview, North Carolina, in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, centrally located between lovely, historic Asheville and the dynamic Hickory Nut Gorge containing Chimney Rock Park and Lake Lure, sisters Annie Ager and Susie Hamilton host an annual summer day camp program for boys and girls ages 6 - 13.

Our camp is centered around horseback riding but we offer many other activities such as swimming, art, pottery and drama that campers will enjoy participating in every day.

Please take a moment to browse our site and learn a bit more about us.

The camp only runs for 5 weeks throughout June and July and each week is limited to about 40 campers, so weeks fill up fast! The weekly cost for campers for the 2009 season is $375, which includes a $25 registration fee that must be paid in advance at the time of registration. Please click on the "Register" tab above for the registration form and additional information.

The remainder of the year, when we're not "camping", Annie stays busy with daily horseback riding lessons and guided trail rides through our gorgeous and relaxing mountain trails! We have a herd of 30 horses and ponies that can meet each rider's individual skill level from the 1st time beginner to the advanced rider.
